AngularNYC is a monthly meetup happening at various locations in the New York area.

About the talks and you

What if I’ve never given a talk before?

We would love to hear from you! If you are interested, we would be more than happy to connect you with a mentor who can help with your talk.

How long should the talk be?

Each talk will be about 20-30 minutes. We will provide you with a timer to help you track time. If you talk takes more or less time please let us know so that we can accommodate.

What if I'm not sure if my topic works for the meetup

We are open to experiments. Please submit it and let's see if we can work together to make it happen.

I have an awesome idea, but it doesn't fit the format

Well done! Submit it and let's discuss.

About the meetup

How many people will be at the meetup?

We usually have 60-120 people.

Will there be a Q&A section after the talk?

We currently do not do Q&A sessions after the talks, but feel free to stay after and answer the questions in-person.

Will I have wireless access?

Yes, you should be able to use a wireless network. However wireless can get tricky so we recommend you keeping an offline copy of your presentation and materials just in case.

Will the talks be recorded?

Yes, all talks will be recorded and published on the AngularNYC YouTube channel. If you don't want your talk to be published, just let us know in advance.

If my talk fits, when will I be able to speak?

We usually have the talks planned for the next 1-2 meetups, so mostly likely your talk with be scheduled in 1-3 months.
